Exoten is a dead-alive, soft sculpture that looks part-animal, part-fossil with its hand-illustrated line drawing. It can sit, stand, lie flat, reverse, and attach to something magnetic via its feet/paws. A companion in your place, watching over it while you’re there and while you’re not, exposing to you and your visitors that life and death are ever-present.
